MAKHANDA WASTEPICKERS MOVEMENT

Waste Pickers in Makhanda have organised to reform their role in the management of dumpsites. From first-hand experience, pickers have knowledge about waste management, the dangers and potentials of landfills and ways to contribute to the green economy.

Salt River residents need more places to heal, learn and connect. N.C.C. is just that space. N.C.C. connects communities in Cape Town experiencing systemic injustices. From refugees, to economically marginalised peoples.
